Due to the contents of the warehouses, security is high priority in order to secure the units and their contents. Octagon were given the task of putting a CCTV system in place that is extensive enough to cover the whole area within the park. CCTV is a very effective piece of security equipment for its ability to identify people should a crime occur, and it is also proven to be one of the best deterrents to prevent a crime occurring in the first place.

Our highly experienced surveyors put together a comprehensive system of cameras, positioned at key points in order to maintain a watchful eye over the business park at all times. This system consisted of various camera types, including PTZ and dome cameras, all recording in high definition and around the clock. Each CCTV camera was specifically chosen to meet the requirements of their position, for example in areas where the field of view may need to be adjusted we made use of motorized varifocal cameras. We also utilised PTZ cameras for their ability to be controlled via the on-site keyboard, and ANPR cameras on the site barriers to monitor vehicles entering or leaving.
