Established over 50 years ago, the company has set up its operation to act as a one-stop-shop able to deal with healthcare supply needs from local project level to national scale projects, supplying over 20,000 branded, generic, medical and consumable products. |

They have recently expanded into a new 30,000 square feet location in Hayes, West London. Octagon were trusted with the task of securing the site so they could continue operations in their new location with peace of mind that they are protected by high level security systems, put in place by a company with over 30 years of experience.

As an NSI Gold accredited installer we were trusted to provide a high quality design and service. The intruder alarms allows our client to leave the unit unattended knowing that should someone attempt to break in, they will be alerted and the police will be called to the scene to investigate further. To further reduce the risk of unauthorised entry we installed access control systems also. This system allows control over who enters and leaves the building, meaning visitors can be allowed or denied entry. It also gives them the ability to monitor who enters and leaves the building.
CCTV cameras throughout the site provide 24 hour surveillance which can then be stored for playback should it be needed. Often, just the presence of an alarm and cameras can be enough of a deterrent to would-be intruders. To secure the exterior, perimeter fences were put in place. These fences were positioned a suitable distance away from the building itself to create a boundary between the facility, and the public area, greatly reducing the likelihood of trespassing. |
